Would you like to learn to recognise signs of distress, and feel more confident to support your family, friends,and community when they are struggling or having a bad time?
If you replied yes to these questions, then this is for you! Hato Hone St John is offering four free Mental Health First Aid courses in early 2024 for people from ethniccommunities* who do not have a background in Mental Health studies/work, and for different reasons cannot access their paid courses.
- Mental Health First Aid course (Saturday 10th February 2024, Parnell – Central Auckland)
- WOMEN-ONLY Mental Health First Aid course (Thursday 22nd Feb 2024, Parnell – Central Auckland)
- Mental Health First Aid course (Saturday 24th February 2024, Manukau – South Auckland)
- Mental Health First Aid course for YOUTH* (Saturday 2nd March 2024, 115 Apollo Drive, Rosedale, Auckland 0632)
