We are holding a few more Bridging Cultures events before the end of the year is out, with one in Marlborough, one in Nelson, and one in Northland. If you are in one of these regions we encourage you to send this event on to whānau/friends that could be interested in the kaupapa.

For those that don’t know, Bridging Cultures are day-long events held by IACT focused on enabling social cohesion and bridging the gap between Pacific, ethnic and Māori communities. We are partnering with Marae all over Aotearoa to these hui that allow for storytelling, connection, and learning between communities.

The dates for these 2023 hui are as follows:

  1. Omaka Marae, Blenheim – November 4th
  2. Whakatū Marae, Nelson – November 23rd
  3. Northland, venue TBC – early December

To register for these events you can scan the QR code or send an email to [email protected] for a link to the Eventbrite.

We have already started mapping out all of the different rohe we want to visit next year, so if we haven’t been to your area yet then hold tight – we will be there soon! Kia ora.
