Bridging Cultures Te Teko

Last Saturday the team went out to Te Teko in Bay of Plenty to deliver our fifth Bridging Cultures hui. The hectic weather hitting the motu did not dampen the spirits of Ngati Hāmua, with a keen turn out and the warm manaakitanga of Te Māpou Marae. Thank you all!
These hui are proving to be special experiences for both participants and our staff, and we are so grateful for the experience of hearing stories from different rohe and learning the histories of the local hapū. We can’t wait to work with this rōpū going forward, and to see what community-centred action they implement!
