New podcast series ‘What’s Wrong with You?’ explores life with a disability
What’s Wrong With You? is a Stuff podcast that tackles the big questions about life with a disability.
The seven-part series is hosted and produced by a team of young disabled women who want to tell their stories from their perspective. The world is not designed for disabled people, so Olivia Shivas (Digital Producer for Stuff), Rebecca Dubber (former NZ paralympian) and Grace Stratton (fashion entrepreneur and blogger) are paving their own way.
Life with a disability is more than just mobility carparks and ramps, so they’ve collected a range of stories about disability from 16 people that cover the heartbreaking lows and triumphant highs of the disabled experience. An insightful and honest investigation into what life is like with a disability – covering issues of accessibility, disclosure, sex, religion and the representation of disability in the media.
Made with the support of NZ On Air, listen to What’s Wrong With You? on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts and Stitcher.
