Te Tiriti o Waitangi Workshops

Our organisation is committed to a vision of Aotearoa where everyone has a place to belong, and part of this is our acknowledgement and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.

We believe that the whakapapa of the Treaty (a promise of two peoples to take the best possible care of each other) speaks to our kaupapa, but can also benefit other organisations and entities striving to better contextualise their relationships and engagement within Aotearoa.

We offer comprehensive treaty training workshops for groups, organisations, or businesses. These workshops educate participants on the historical foundations of the treaty and contextualise the importance of Te Tiriti in Aotearoa’s future.

We have three different workshop sizes. Click on the icons below to better understand which would work best for your needs.

  • Half-day workshop

  • One-day workshop

  • Long-term Te Tiriti embedment

The team at Inclusive Aotearoa Collective Tāhono (IACT) bring years of experience
and wisdom to their Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Te ao Māori training. They know how to
create comprehensive and authentic frameworks and walk alongside organisations on
their journey, going at the pace of everyone on the team.

YWCA Tāmaki Makaurau, as a tangata Tiriti organisation, are currently undertaking Te
Tiriti o Waitangi and Te ao Māori training with a Kaupapa Māori approach to create a
greater understanding and commitment to Te Tiriti. Gareth Jones and Anjum Rahman
have run informative, heartfelt wonderful workshops with us that uphold the mana of
everyone in the room. We thoroughly recommend them.
