The Movement for Open Culture Aotearoa Launch Event

In October we attended the launch event for the Movement for Open Culture Aotearoa in Kirikiriroa, Hamilton.

The Movement for Open Culture Aotearoa (MOCA) was launched out of the Momentum Waikato Intercultural Fund, which was established to address issues of community connectedness.

Intercultural inclusivity and belonging is at the heart of our kaupapa, and we are absolutely honoured and privileged to be one of the first recipients of the initiative’s grants. This putea will assist us in building bridges between different cultures and social groups across Aotearoa. We wouldn’t be able to do the work we do if it were not for entities such as MOCA, so please go follow their cause, and if you have the means then donate through purchasing one of their styling keep-cups.
